On a cold wet icy morning, it was the beginning of her day. Brenda Chiappetta, 58, was a longtime bus driver for the Lake Shore Central School District in Angola, New York. Just like everyone else in the transportation department, she was part of a close net group who were always there for the kids and always put them first. She was shielding herself from the weather traversing the yard to her bus when another bus, who did not see her, accidently hit her. It was simply a no fault accident. To make the yard safer after the accident the yard was working hard to make the yard more visible for drivers in the busses and drivers walking the yard.
