Ruth Berg, Age 47, died tragically in a gas explosion at Minnehaha Academy on August 2, 2017. Ruth worked for 17 years as the switchboard operator at the Upper School, and she always greeted people in a friendly way. Ruth was a gentle presence in the midst of a whirlwind of activity,  and she will forever be remembered by students and teachers for the beautiful smile and encouraging words she shared with all who entered our school.  Ruth was preceded in death by her father, LeRoy Berg. She is survived by daughter, Brittany Bergstrom; fiance, Mark Burrington; mother, JoAnn Fricano; siblings, Sherrie Winkler, Rick Fricano (Pam), and Joe Fricano; nieces and nephews.
