Reynaldo Arias, “He was Humble”

Reynaldo Arias had worked for the Nogales Unified School District for 24 years and was recently promoted to head custodian, said NUSD Superintendent Fernando Parra. He was currently working at Desert Shadows Middle School, in Nogales, Arizona, when a tragic accident happened, causing a 6 foot bookshelf to topple over on top of Reynaldo.

Reynaldo was 48, at the time of the accident on March 23, 2018 and was considered, “…humble, a hard worker and very excited to be named head custodian,” said Parra “This is a very sad and difficult situation.”
