Jovan Rembert, 43, was the principal and CEO of West Park Preparatory School of West Park, Florida was walking to check on a family from his school that was involved in a fender bender after school on March 6, 2020. Jovan was sure everyone was fine but just wanted to check when another driver who was more tuned into the fender bender than the people walking by ran over Jovan. Jovan died at the scene. Jovan will be remembered as “He touched a community.”
