On March 22, 1974 a17-year-old student shot and killed Jessie Blevins, 48, the Athletic Director at Brownstown Central High School in the parking lot of the school, Brownstown, Indiana. The student shot Blevins twice in the back, laid the long gun down in the grass, went to the principal’s office to let them know he had done it. The motive for the shooting was never revealed.
