PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Providence School District is mourning the loss of a teacher following a hit-and-run accident Wednesday.
Special Education teacher Anne-Marie Dansicker died Thursday morning.
“This is a woman who was born an artist, but became a teacher so she could advocate for children,” Isaac said at his parents’ home in Warwick.
Dansicker spent seven years working as a full-time substitute teacher for the Providence School District and the last couple of years as a special education teacher at Mount Pleasant High School.
“There’s a lot I’d like to say, but the problem with that is how do you summarize 63 years of someone’s life?” Eric said.
